At just 25km long, Liechtenstein experiences very few travellers. Not many visit the small but picturesque country of Liechtenstein. Nestled between Austria and Switzerland, it has stunning natural beauty being surrounded by the Alps. Besides the sheer novelty of visiting one of the world’s tiniest and richest countries, Liechtenstein is a pure fairytale, with turreted castles embedded deep in the Alps, you should not skip past this stunning little country.
Despite this, the only way to get here is by bus or car from Switzerland, as there is no international airport. However, it is still a worthwhile journey in your travels, as not everyone can say they have visited one of the smallest populated countries in the world, that’s an achievement in itself! In addition, if you head down to the tourist information desk in the centre of town, you can get your passport stamped!
