If you could picture what heaven is really like, we’d say it looks like the Maldives. I’m sure by now on various Instagram and other sites you have seen just how beautiful the Maldives actually is. So peaceful, tranquil and disconnected. It is a great destination to just let go of all your worries and have a bit of ‘me time’. With over 1,000 individual islands, its impossible to explore them all, and many luxury hotel brands claiming their own islands for their resorts. In reality, it is a destination for honeymooners, couples and high-end travellers.
The Maldives is famous for its overwater bungalows, and we highly recommend spending the extra money to stay in one, even if its only for a few nights, as it really is a once in a lifetime experience, and its simply amazing. Even though many believe it is just for the rich, you can get excellent deals on flights here, and whilst your there, many small BnB’s line the more populated islands, making it a destination for backpackers too!
