Vanuatu Travel Guide
Vanuatu is located just over 1000 miles north-east of Brisbane, Australia. It takes just 2 1/2 by plane to get there. With 83 islands, Vanuatu is a tropical paradise like many other Pacific nations. With vast arrays of tropical fish, coral, rainforests, bustling towns, wonderful hospitality and even an active volcano, Vanuatu has something for every type of traveller. Like most of the Pacific nations, Vanuatu is fairly expensive when it comes to food and accommodation, however you can find some great deals if you search around and the tap water is also drinkable, which will save you quite a bit of money.
We love Vanuatu, as it’s one of the less popular countries in the Pacific to travel too (unless you’re Australian!). This means you won’t be bombarded with hundreds of tourists and can really immerse in the local culture and way of life, making it somewhat even more of a paradise than it’s neighbours like New Caledonia and Fiji.
